This year's Lone Gunmen Convention in Seattle was organized by Erynn, Mel, and Martha, the TV Tome Triumvirate who bring us so many good GunThings. We camped at The West Seattle Travel Lodge along with several members of the cast and crew from the made-in-Vacouver independent short film Tilt, directed by Lance Peverly and produced by Patrick Stark. Based loosely on the Don Quixote story, Tilt stars Tom Braidwood (yes, there's the connection) and John R. Taylor, as well as Mike Roberds and Glenn Taranto from 'The New Addams Family', and others. The film is finished but for costly post-production, and Gunfen at the convention, as well as many who could not make it this year, contributed real-actual-legal-tender-magnetic-strip-on-the-INSIDE U.S. dollars towards the bill. All together we raised $750 for Tilt, which looks even better when you translate that into Canadian dollars. |

| We wait for our restaurant tables in a nearby Starbucks. | We eat at an Italian restaurant. | We crowd into Mel's room and compete for awards (such as the Jimmy Bond Mangling of History Award), then watch Maximum Byers and Tango de los Pistoleros till the wee hours. | Despite lack of sleep we gather in the morning for raffle drawing and prize giving. | The long goodbye. |
